We set sail from Shotley Marina on 20 May 2025, beginning our epic anticlockwise voyage around Britain via the Caledonian Canal. After much debate, we chose this route so Svea can stretch her legs every evening in a marina, while Pete enjoys a well-earned pint! Along the way, we’ll be sampling local ales, visiting yacht clubs, exploring scenic walking trails, and uncovering the best dog-friendly bars, cafés, and shops. Each stop will be reviewed right here.
