A Swedish send off

Shotley Sailing Club went all out for our Viking and his dog. The Swedish-themed party began with a welcome drink of schnapps, followed by Swedish delicacies including Jansson's Temptation, herrings, and meatballs, all prepared by Pete.

After a rather unusual quiz, the evening concluded with Eurovision. I don't think we could have coped if the "Sauna song" had won.

Huge thanks to all Committee members and their families for the face painting, memory book, and enabling the night to happen. Pete would also like to thank all members of the club for their very generous gift and a decade of friendships. You will be in our hearts every step of the way.
