In 2025, Pete, Jen and Svea, a Bernese Mountain Dog with no interest in tidal calculations set off from Shotley Marina on a 130-day circumnavigation of Britain.
Across 46 legs, 1,800 nautical miles and every Celtic nation, they tested every piece of advice about sailing with a dog, and discovered most of it was wrong.
Now they've written the book. Dogsail: Sailing Around Britain with a Dog, a Chatbot and a Swedish Viking tells the story of that voyage - and everything they learned the hard way so you don't have to.
